It feels almost therapeutic to release this beer at the peak of winter, but it isn’t without a glimmer of encouragement that brighter days are coming, nights are gradually drawing out, and it’ll be beer garden weather once again before long. Close your eyes whilst taking a sip of Bring Back the Sun and it might just transport you there – a tropical fiesta of Nelson Sauvin, Citra and Motueka on the cold side of this DDH Pale Ale almost has you kicking back on a sunbed with a pina colada. Zesty lime, tropical fruit, gooseberry and passionfruit are bursting from this incredible pale that promises brighter, warmer days are definitely in the post.
