'Wildflower - A Polly's Pilsner 5.1% There’s just something wonderful about the simplicity of a lager. Simultaneously one of the easiest things to brew, but one of the most notoriously difficult to do well, there’s nothing to hide behind with this style; which is why we use it as a measuring stick for our progress as a brewery. After checking off a Vienna with Hive Colour, and the Helles style with Flowermood earlier in the year, we’re taking our lager game to the Czech Republic this time around for a summer-influenced Pilsner with Wildflower. Slightly more aromatic and hop-forward than its German counterpart, we’ve hopped this beer very gently with a Polly’s favourite in Mosaic, and a hop that we’ve found works outrageously well in the style in Ella. The result? A perfectly crisp and refreshing beer with mellow fruit notes, on top of a bready malt base.'
