Given the uniqueness of this barrel in our cellar, we chose to fruit it as a follow-up to our original collaboration, Scylla. \r\n\r\nAfter 20 months of oak ageing with the addition of 40L of rhubarb juice, the beer was refermented for a further two months on 220g\/L of locally grown Scottish blackberries and red gooseberries before bottle conditioning. The result is bright, vinous and juicy, with notes of red fruit pastilles, currant compote and a gentle oak. Limited to 468 bottles.
